 Chester AM Army Type Chain Hoist
- Chester's Model AM Army Type Chain Hoist provides an ideal combination of light weight construction and versatility in an economically priced army type manual chain hoist. With capacities from 1/4 to 5 tons, the beam mounted AM trolley hoist is compact and built to last under a variety of standard industrial and maintenance duty applications. With Chester's legendary designed-in strength, reliability and durability, each model AM hoist is made in America and designed and tested to the requirements of the ANSI B30.16 specification.
- Features include a lightweight, compact design with steel construction and heat treated load bearing parts. These units are metric rated with a 4:1 design factor and have steel gear and handwheel covers for impact resistance and durability. The hoist load chain is alloy steel and heat treated for strength and endurance. Hooks are forged steel and the trolley wheels are fully machined cast iron with precision ball bearings. The units are simple to assemble and maintain and offer excellent headroom and efficiency. Available options include chain containers, drop stop/bumpers, zinc plated chains and special finishes.  Chester Zephyr Army Type Chain Hoist
- The Chester Zephyr Army Type Hoist consists of the standard Zephyr Hoist mechanism and an integral trolley which minimizes headroom when compared to a hoist suspended from a standard trolley. These hoists incorporate the heavy duty components common to our Zephyr product line.
- The 1/2 through 2 ton units have a special load bar with swiveling, two wheeled, precision bearing trolleys. These hoists are available in plain or hand geared models and are adjustable for various beam sizes. The swivel trolleys are ideal for negotiating curves.
- The 3 through 10 ton units have integral four wheeled rigid trolleys with Timken roller bearings and heavy steel side plates and can be adjusted to fit a variety of beam sizes. The compact design and short wheelbase make these units ideal for close quarters and curved tracks.
- All Zephyr Army Type Hoists are available for wide flange beams, patented tracks, standard I-beams and fabricated or international beams. Options include track clamps, load limiters, trolley bumpers and drop stops, chain containers and spark and corrosion resistance construction.
