Important features include handgrips for easy handling, mechanical overload protection device, five-pocket load sheave, upper and lower limit switches, multiple disc motor brake, upper and lower chain guides, and oil bath transmission.
- Additional options are fabric chain containers, double brake, and variable speeds. BGV-C1 versions are also available. COFFING UJC Road Cases #UJL-RC1 are an alternative for hoist storage and transport. COFFING UJC hoists have a lifetime warranty.

- Standard components include compact aluminum housing, single or three phase voltages, mechanical overload device, dual braking system, load chain mounted chain stop, and a a 10 pocket oblique lift wheel.
- Chain containers are available as additional options. COFFING Prostar hoists have a lifetime warranty.
