Ikusi Radio Remote Control Systems : Handheld Pushbutton Transmitters
|
The TM70/1 and TM70/2 handheld pushbutton transmitters are designed for ON/OFF control via relays with movements requiring first and/or second speed. The highly sensitive button enables the speed jump to be accurately identified by touch. They can be combined with receivers with up to 21 switching relays, and have alternating or direct current supply options. All the functionality of the TM70 range is included: display with data return, radius limiter, removable SIM modules on the transmitter enabling quick replacement of a faulty transmitter by a new one. Typical applications are industrial lifting (travelling cranes, tower cranes for construction) or self-propelled machinery not requiring analogue proportional control.
Ikusi continues to widen its TM70 range of remote controls. It has now included two new handheld pushbutton transmitters, type I and II, which stand out as they have obtained ATEX certification, applicable to the use of this type of equipment in potentially explosive environments or atmospheres. The type I and II button boxes in the TM70 range can therefore now be installed in potentially explosive environments, both in dust and gas atmospheres. The only limitation to the certification degree in gas atmospheres regards Acetylene and Hydrogen. The ATEX directive (94/9/EC), concerning the use of equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres, came into force on 1 July 2003, and since June 2006 any equipment that does not comply with this regulation, whether it is old or new, must be replaced.
