This is for the one opening where everything absolutely must go right.

Most theatres are required to be equipped with fire vents. At present, many of these vents are operated with hand winches or other types of equipment not specifically designed for that purpose. In particular, they are not easily inspected and tested a procedure that should be done frequently.

Our Fire Vent Closure Winch solves the problem by allowing easy testing and resetting without breaking the Electro Thermal Link that automatically releases the vent doors in the event of fire or smoke alarm.

	Band brake adjusts for wear to provide adequate braking tension to seal and secure fire vents.

	Spring-loaded ratchet provides positive control for closing fire vents.

	Removable handle stores in frame compartment for security.

	Test arm provides convenient method for testing fire vent operation.
