A single shaft up to 20 feet long drives multiple winches spaced anywhere along its length. The perfect solution where floor space is limited or structures cannot support horizontal loads, Thern Line Shaft Winches are mounted either upright or under-hung for direct vertical lift. As with many other Thern products, we've taken a modular design approach while standardizing production to achieve economy while retaining the ability to make custom changes to meet special needs. Some options include changing load ratings, line speeds, wire rope diameters, travel distances and gear ratios. Heavy-duty construction and redundant braking systems assure long, reliable operation.
